Hi All,
Watching the 24 hours of Daytona reminded me to write the
January 22, 2012 race report for Pike Creek Raceway,
Twenty three racers were at the George’s race last Sunday.
Practice was from 8 till 10 then ECHORR SS class started round robin.
Finishing order as follows,
Laps-Sections Super Stock
1) Don A with 41-54 2) Rich 41-17 3) Henry 40-36 4) Vic 40-30
5) Chuck 39-64 6) Randy 39-54 7) Jim L 39-45 8) Derek S 39-41
Second race after lunch (Thanks Mom for the salads) was our support
class Muscle Cars with slip on rears We changed up the event by running
the race from the other side of the track.
Finishing order, Laps-Sections
1) Henry 37-35 2) G3 37-9 3) Vic 36-52 4) Rich 36-28
5) Randy 36-21 6) Chuck 36-10 7) George 36-7 8) Jim L 36-4
Third race The Indy Cars. 15 racers stayed to indulge in the fun.
Top 4 on same lap!! Second 4 also on their lap!!

Jeff Harker's 1st Invitational Race
Well, the first race at RG Park in Swedesboro, NJ is in the bag and it seemed like a success. I had some good comments about my track and layout. Thanks guys. That felt great! Everyone enjoyed lunch and there was almost nothing left. Thanks again! Thanks to my wife for allowing me to host an event that can turn anyone's house inside out, especially when the track has to move into the living room. (Sorry for all the thank you’s, we're watching the Golden Globes.)

The racing was close, as always, and the camaraderie was fantastic. Even those of us who finish mid-pack or worse on a regular basis have a good time.
Looks like this might be a yearly event. I'll get back to you on that sometime in November.
